HOW TO MANAGE YOUR MONEY

Learning effective money management not only enables you to live comfortably within your means, but also helps you to increase your wealth. Use these money management tips to stay in control of your money!

$Set a Money Management Goal
Money management is a means to an end. However, make your goal practical and be sure the “end” is in clear sight. Although your money management goal may be to have a comfortable retirement, start small with objectives like paying off a credit card within X number of months or saving $X by the end of the year. In money management, like in any regimen, there’s nothing like the satisfaction of success to keep you on track!

$Know what you have
Before you can live within your means, you need to know what your means are. Start money management by taking stock of your money. You’ll probably be surprised at how rich you really are!
As well as the cash in your pocket or purse, include piggy bank cash, bank balances, and available credit from credit cards. (Lines of credit, such as overdraft protections and available credit from credit balances, are additional resources we can use to purchase goods and services. At first look, they appear to be a part of our money. However, credit always belongs to the creditor. When we tap into these financial resources, they decrease our spending power over the long haul with finance charges, fees, and interest that increase our debt.)

Go on a treasure hunt to find lost money. Look in coat and trouser pockets, through Birthday and other greeting cards, jewelry boxes, dresser drawers, under furniture cushions, behind and under furniture, in your freezer, and under your mattress!

Although our money is an asset and all of our assets are types of our money, generally we’re more inclined to think of assets as property.

However although all of our possessions are parts of our wealth that we can turn into cash, usually they are the types of our money that we want to protect from creditors. For instance, you probably don’t want to sell your car or cash in a valuable coin collection to pay a bill. Yet, the ability to convert property to cash is a good concept to remember in identifying and effectively managing your money.

Some assets like vehicles and appliances depreciate (decrease in value) over time. Yet, while they don’t increase spending power, you can turn them into cash.

Long-term assets like real estate holdings, investments, and personal property such as collections, artworks, and antiques appreciate (increase in value) over time and actually enable us to save money and increase our wealth.

$Track your income
Really track your income! If you have at least a month’s worth of old check stubs, add them up and divide them to see what your average income is. Better yet, if you can add them for a quarter year and divide by 13 (number of weeks in a quarter) you’ll get a more accurate view of your earning power. If you haven’t saved check stubs, do it for at least four weeks. Don’t just add your weekly wage times four. You’ll be forgetting sick days, flat-tire days, and omitting extra income from overtime and holidays.

$Track your spending
Once you know what money you have now and what income you can expect to get, it’s time to find out where your money goes. Take a month and track your spending down to the penny. Make your first purchase a small notebook and pen you can carry in purse or pocket.
Record everything! In addition to tracking the cash you spend, use your notebook to record every bill payment, check, debit, and credit card expenditure. Include the amount you paid, who you paid (or where you shopped), and the date you made the purchase.

After a couple of weeks, you’ll find yourself reconsidering if you really need that pack of gum or mid-morning cafĂ© latte. However, this money management exercise is designed to show you how you usually spend your money. It’s important during this month not to deny yourself your usual pleasures, no matter how trivial they are.

Setting a realistic goal, knowing what you have, what you expect to earn, and tracking your spending are the basics of money management that enable you to control your money and make wise budgeting choices in the future.

GET TRAFFIC THROUGH BLOGRUSH

BLOGRUSH is a new but popular traffic exchange program for english language blogs on different niches/categories. You too can SIGN UP FOR FREE AT BLOGRUSH to GET TRAFFIC to your blogs. What you have to do is nothing but put their widget - a piece of JAVASCRIPT in to your blog and watch traffic coming. bellow are description of how blogrush works and how to get more traffic from it. This is both a tip and a review too.

How Does The BlogRush Stuff Work
You place their WIDGET (a piece of javascript) in sidebar or any place of your blog which shows titles with links to different blogs who have a account at blogrush and you earn a single Blogrush credit or point for each page view of your blog with the blogrush widget showing (this is important). Suppose you get x credits because of x page views your blog receives (with this widget enabled) then your blog posts especially latest blog posts/headlines would be shown in blogrush widgets that appear in other blogs. And suppose you have x points or credits in your blogrush account then latests posts (headlines) from your blog would be shown x times in the blogrush widgets of other blogs of your niche(you choose the niche) So your post/headlines get a pageview for every credit/point you get in your blog rush account but. That is how blogrush works, It would provide traffic to your blog if your posts/headlines at widgets of other blogs would receive clicks. You earn 1 point for every page view the widget at your blog gets and 3 points for referring others to them and also you get some % of pints of your referrals (down levels).

HOW TO START WITH
Sign Up for free at BLOGRUSH and add your blog to it. Category which you choose while adding your blog is important as your posts/traffic would be generated from same niche blogs. Also you can edit it in settings when you want. In dashboard you would get the stats - no. of credits you have earned, number of impressions your blogposts have received for the credits you have. Also you can see the balance credits and clicks, traffic to your blogs referrals referral points but the reports page is still under construction.

DO YOU GET TRAFFIC USING THIS
Just installed it now and my posts have got many impressions in exchange of impressions I’ve given to posts appearing at the widgets (you can check the sidebar) but that’s just impression to my posts but CLICK THROUGH RATE might not be high and your posts@the widget may get 1000 impressions but any one would not click the posts so no traffic here.

TIPS TO GET MORE TRAFFIC FROM BLOGRUSH
Attractive post titles so that all the page views or impressions yourposts@widgets get would be converted to clicks. Since in the blogrush widgets post titles are shown, if they would seem attractive to users looking for same niche (because you select the niche keywords where your posts would be shown) they would click on the title appearing on the widget to read your blogpost. So your blog gets traffic.
Restrict the post title to about 35 chars as 20 chars of title are shown in each line for the post in the widget and total 2 lines for the total post title. So make about first 25-40 chars of the post titles very attractive to the point.
In settings check if your blog is added to correct category or not. Your posts would appear on widgets in blogs of this category which you select. You select most targeted niche to get targeted TRAFFIC to your blog.
Other tips coming soon please comment

HOW CAN MY BLOG’S PAGE VIEWS BE DOUBLED
If you give x page views to blogrush widgets in your blog and get x points to your account. Now your posts would be shown x times at widgets at different blogs, hence get x impressions, and if these x impressions get converted to clicks i.e. visits to your blogs x times you get x visitors but click through rate is very less here (may improve).

RIGHT TIME FOR INVESTMENT

Reliance has done his job, Reliance Power IPO subscribed nearly 7 times and by this 2 lakh DMAT account were opened, its really amazing now it is time for new IPO, Do u know what i gonna tell you, yes its time for BSNL. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, the state-owned telecom company, is planning the sixth-largest initial public offering (IPO) ever in the history of the world. It intends to garner as much as $10 billion, or Rs40,000 crore.

we should invest now, it is best time for invest but nothing can be farther from the truth and this will be clear from the way the market behaves in the next few months. Here are a few tips that would hopefully save you from losing a lot of cash in the current frenzy.

The number one tip at this point would be to sell if you have stocks and not to buy them if you have cash. The golden principle in the markets is “Buy when everyone else sells and sell when everyone else buys”. Simple enough right? Not really.
Why? Because of peer pressure pure and simple. When everyone else around you seems to be having a ball at the markets you would feel like a fool if you didn’t participate now.
OK so you can’t resist buying at this time then at least do yourself a favor and stay away from unknown Penny Stock and hot tips that your barber gave you. True that the stock has tripled in the last fifteen days but that was before people like your barber started buying the stock. Chances are that the Promoter of the company have started buying into the stock and have spread rumors like acquisition or a big export order to fool investors and sell out to them at a later date.

Another tip that would serve useful is to value a stock based on its future growth and not its past performance. For instance many investors say that I will not buy stocks of X company because it has doubled in the last year. Well it may have doubled in the last year but that should not be the thing you should be telling yourself. Rather you should ask yourself why has this doubled in the last year and can it do so again? There should be a solid answer to your question like the launch of a new product or reduction in the prices of raw material. And indeed if the answer is in the positive then by all means go ahead and buy that stock regardless of what has happened in the last year.

Next tip would be to remember what you are buying. Quite simply investors often forget that when buying a stock they are simply buying ownership in the companies. Most of you would know that nothing spectacular would happen in the company that you work for, in a month, they are not going to double their revenues and certainly not double your salary every month. Then why expect anything different from the companies that you are investing in. Why expect the prices to double in a month or two. Give time to your investments; don’t reduce it to a gamble. Only when you invest in fundamentally sound companies and then give the investments sufficient time to grow will you see some healthy returns on your investments. Ideally a minimum horizon of one year is a good time.

FIRST BIGGEST ISSUE OF THE YEAR

Reliance Power (RPL), part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG) company,a unit of India's second-biggest utility by market value,is engaged in the construction and development of various gas- and coal-based thermal power projects and hydroelectric power projects in various parts of the country.

Reliance Power won rights to develop a 4,000-MW mega power project at Sasan in the central state of Madhya Pradesh in June. Its parent, Reliance Energy, is building a 1,200-MW power plant at Rosa in northern Uttar Pradesh state..

The 4,000-MW project is expected to be the largest pit-head coal-fired power project at a single location in the country and is scheduled to be commissioned during the XI Plan. At the same time, the company expects to complete the Rosa Phase-I, 600-MW coal-fired project in Uttar Pradesh, now under construction, by March 2010. The Rosa Phase II (600-MW expansion project) is scheduled to be commissioned by September 2010. The other identified projects are located in Western Region (12,220 MW), Northern region (9,080 MW) and North-Eastern region (2,900 MW). It is also making a big foray into the hydro power projects in Arunachal Pradesh. The power projects include six coal-fired projects (10,620 MW) to be fuelled by reserves from captive mines and supplies from India and abroad, two gas-fired projects (10,280 MW) to be fuelled primarily by reserves from the Krishna Godavari Basin off the East Coast and four hydro power projects (3,300 MW), three of them in Arunachal Pradesh and one in Uttarakhand.

Reliance Power Listing to Change Up Indian’s IPO
While Reliance Power may not be a stock for short-term investors to consider, the company is poised to get the Indian IPO market off to a good start this year. The greenfield power producer is seeking to raise between Rs105.3 billion and Rs117 billion ($2.7 billion to $3 billion), which will make it the largest Indian IPO evermdash;ahead of property developer DLF's $2.25 billion deal in June last year.
According to terms set last week, Reliance Power, which is a spin-off from Anil Ambani's Reliance Energy, will offer 260 million shares, or 11.5% of the company, at a price of Rs405 to Rs450 per share. The deal, which was delayed from the fourth quarter last year after investor complaints about Reliance Energy's transfer of certain high-value power projects to the listing vehicle, will be open for subscription from January 15 to 18. The Indian regulators dismissed the complaints late last year.

To help ensure a successful outcome of such a large sale, the promoters will buy 32 million of the shares, or 12.3% of the deal. Retail investors will be able to buy the shares at a Rs20 per share discount to the price paid by institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals. Depending on the final price, the discount will range from 4.4% to 4.9%. Unusually, retail investors also won't have to pay the entire subscription amount when submitting their orders, but can choose to divide the payments into two parts with the balance to be settled only after they know how many shares they will receive. This could make some investors more inclined to subscribe.
Aside from the large size, the Reliance Power IPO also stands out because the company has no plants in operation yet. The first project (Rosa Phase I) is due to start generating power and revenues in December 2009 with the other 12 plants scheduled for completion at a staggered pace until April 2016. As a result, the execution risk is much greater than for a typical IPO and it will require a big leap of faith from the investors to raise the cash that is needed to see these projects through.
Analysts note that the 600MW Rosa Phase I plant is the only one that will have even begun construction at the time of listing and, for some of the projects, the company doesn't yet hold the required land. In its preliminary listing prospectus, the company acknowledges that its power projects have a long gestation period and says it cannot assure that they will commence operations as expected.
"The completion targets for our projects are estimates and are subject to risks, including, among other things, contractor performance shortfalls, unforeseen engineering problems, force majeure events, unanticipated cost increases or changes in scope and delays in obtaining certain property rights, fuel supply and government approvals, any of which could give rise to delays, cost overruns or the termination of a project's development," it states.
"The IPO is quite dicey and people will be putting money into it solely on the reputation of the group," says one India-based analyst.
That reputation counts for a lot though and the deal is widely expected to be well received by the market amid a perception that Anil Ambani will make sure people won't lose money on this spin-off. They are also counting on the family's contacts and negotiation skills when it comes to removing various road blocks and making the necessary headway to realise the plans.
Meanwhile, the company and its eight bookrunning lead managers stress the fact that the power plant under development will make Reliance Power one of the largest power generators in India, and no other company will be able to show the same rapid growth rate in the coming seven to eight years. The assets will also be well-diversified, both geographically and in terms of fuel sources, and will be strategically located near its potential customers in the northern, western and north-eastern regions of the country as well as near its fuel sources or load centres.

Reliance Power IPO - Payment options Reliance Power IPO has 2 Payment Methods
The Payment Methods available to investors to apply in this Net Issue are as follows:
1) Payment Method - 1
o a) Only Retail Individual Bidders and Non-Institutional Bidders are eligible for this method QIBs cannot submit a Bid under this Payment Method.
o b) While bidding, the Bidder shall make a payment of Rs. 115 per Equity Share, irrespective of the Bid Price. Investors should note that the total Bid Amount will be used to determine whether a Bid is in the Retail Individual category, Non-Institutional category or not, and not the amount payable on submission of Bid-Cum-Application Form.
o c) At the time of allotment: 1. If the amount paid by the Bidder is equal to or higher than the total amount payable (being the Issue Price multiplied by the number of shares allotted) by the Bidder on the Equity Shares allotted to the Bidder, we reserve the right to adjust the excess amount towards the Balance Amount Payable and issue fully paid Equity Shares only. The excess amount, if any, after adjusting the Balance Amount Payable shall be refunded to the Bidder (i.e., Refund = Total amount paid on bidding minus the total amount payable on the shares allotted). 2. If the amount paid by the Bidder is less than the total amount payable by the Bidder (being the Issue Price multiplied by the number of shares allotted) on the Equity Shares allotted to the Bidder, we reserve the right to adjust the excess of the amount received from the Bidder over the Amount Payable on Submission of Bid-cum-Application Form towards the Balance Amount Payable and issue a Call Notice for the balance.

2) Payment Method 2
o a) Bidders under any category can choose this method.
o b) While bidding, the Bidder shall have to make the full payment (Bid Amount multiplied by number of Equity Shares bid) for the equity shares bid. Bidders in QIB category will be required to make payment of 10% of the Bid Amount multiplied by the number of Equity Shares bid, with the balance being payable on allocation but before allotment.

Reliance Power IPO to list in early Feb
Retail investors get discount
So on a price band of Rs 400 to Rs 450, the retail investors will get to buy the stock at Rs 20 less and will not need to block too much money at the time of applying.

So will there be enough returns on your investments specially since power is not the most high yielding business but if you believe the younger Ambani you should not be worried.

Anil Ambani is being backed by the country's top three merchant bankers, all domestic, who feel power stocks could define the stock markets in 2008.

"Reliance Power IPO is coming at a time when markets at all time high to impress retail investors. But the fact is that they are diluting only 10 per cent, so it may be only a few lucky ones who get a say,” said Nimesh Kampani, Chairman, JM Financial.

Online trading, best way for do trading.

A share of stock is basically a tiny piece of a corporation. Shareholders -- people who buy stock -- are investing in the future of a company for as long as they own their shares. The price of a share varies according to economic conditions, the performance of the company and investors' attitudes. The first time a company offers its stock for public sale is called an initial public offering (IPO), also known as "going public."
When a business makes a profit, it can share that money with its stockholders by issuing a dividend. A business can also save its profit or re-invest it by making improvements to the business or hiring new people. Stocks that issue frequent dividends are income stocks. Stocks in companies that re-invest their profits are growth stocks.
Brokers buy and sell stocks through an exchange, charging a commission to do so. A broker is simply a person who is licensed to trade stocks through the exchange. A broker can be on the trading floor or can make trades by phone or electronically.
But online trading is more convenient and hassle free. No phone calls, No paperwork, No more writing of cheques, you can trade on your own.

What is online trading?
Generally, online trading refers to buying and selling securities via the Internet or other electronic means such as wireless access, touch-tone telephones, and other new technologies. With online trading, in most cases customers access a brokerage firm's Web Site through their regular Internet Service Provider. Once there, customers may consult information provided on the Web Site and log into their accounts to place orders and monitor account activity.
All trades involve a brokerage firm even if a stockbroker is not used to help with the trade. Although customers may enter orders for trades via the Internet, customers do not have direct access to the securities markets and therefore must use a brokerage firm in order to execute their trades. Customers should also remember to do their homework where their investments are concerned.
Internet share trading is more convenient and hassle free. No phone calls, No paperwork, No more writing of cheques, you can trade on your own. Market position will be in front of you. You can trade while working in the office, while you are at home. If computer/Internet is not available at your place; you can go to Cyber cafe also. You can take an experience once; you will know the advantages of that.

Think twise b4 sending a naughty SMS!!!

Hi! This post is not for any earning step but i want to share this info to my readers that possessing any kind of naughty SMS or porn MMS is now a crime as per IT Act. According to the IT Act an obscene SMS could lead to a fine of 1 lakh(approx $2250) while if caught a second time then one could land in prison for 10years.

We never thought that it could land us in jail or burn a hole in our pocket. Maybe now we will have to be more careful whilesending such SMS. Well such an act is a good move as it will be of great help to the women.

But i want to say that needs should more simplification. Exchange of SMSs is quite common among the colleagues and friends. Sending porn SMS again the will of the person can be considered as crime but keeping any porn SMS can never come under the ambit of criminal activity. The act should be implemented in a more simple and classified manner.

Growing indian market, What about you?

India is saying to world “Your time is off, my time is now”. All known that indian share market is on boom. Today every indian wants to invest their money in share market as well as foreigner. It is clear private equity bankrolls the indian story, with $13 (55,000crore) billion invested in domestic markets in 2007 and experts forecast 2008 to see $20 billion worth in investment. The year 2007 is clearly the year that saw the rise of private equity funds.
Now lets talk about indian people, growing share market makes Mukesh Ambani world’s richest man. Market makes rich not only Ambani but also most of indian investor of share markets. The sensex soars 6,500+ in 2007 and this is now 20,300+. How it is look like? Time is now with indians and if you want to rich then come and invest here don’t dare to go anywhere b’coz it has proved that india is best destiny to invest now.

How can you trading in india without any broker?

You can Buy & Sell share directly from net transaction not from any broker it is simple, Go to nearest ICICI Bank, there you have to open '3 in 1' Account. (Saving account , Demat account, Online trading accout). Then you can get the Usere Id, and password. Then only you can go into 'icicidiret.com' to purchase and sales through net.

What experts says-

Experts expects the markets to touch somewhere close to 20,000 points due to the strong momentum. "However, we are not asking anybody to buy at current levels," experts adds a word of caution.
"If the market (Sensex) corrects (falls down) by 1,000-1,500 point, then it could perhaps be a time to buy."
Invest only in stocks/ companies you believe in; remember, they should be run by responsible people. It's mostly the quality of the management that either makes or breaks a company.
Investing in stock markets is always risky, irrespective of the position of the Sensex. However, at 20,000 points the risk-reward ratio is a bit skewed: that is, the risk is higher and the reward is lower.
The only precaution you can take is to play as safe as possible. This means you need to do your homework. Don't just buy a share because your neighbour is doing so. Buy because you believe in the company and are willing to stay on for the long haul.
In short, let caution be your watchword.
